The Discrete Liquid Sampler is made from flouropolymer and stainless steel as a take- a-part design for easy decontamination. AMS’ discrete liquid samplers are heavier than most bailers. The weight allows for an easier and straighter deployment. Various sizes make sampling easy in drums, tanks, lagoons, and open waters. These samplers are also recommended for use in monitoring wells with an ID of 2" or larger.

Samplers are manufactured with a valve at both the top and the bottom, of the 1.875” diameter sample chamber. The upper valve of all modes is manually opened and closed with a remote “T” handle. While the lower valve on the single-valve models is spring loaded and is opened when pressed against the side or bottom of a container, the dual-valve models offer manual control from the “T” handle for both the upper and lower valves. Single-valve models are provided with fluoropolymer container caps for sealing the fluoropolymer container, eliminating the need to transfer the sample into a separate container. With the dual-valve models you have the option of sealing the fluoropolymer container or emptying the sample into a separate container with a detachable metering valve.

All models are provided as complete kits.
