Asbestos has so many attractive properties and has often been used in a variety of forms for construction. If building materials are not properly maintained, asbestos fibers can become airborne creating significant environmental health problems. Proper sampling is key to determining airborne asbestos concentrations. Sampling methods are also available to determine asbestos concentrations in settled dust.

Count
• Average background fiber count is less than 4 fibers per 100 fields.
Clearing
• Filter material clears thoroughly to meet method specifications and is suitable for PCM analysis.
Conductivity
• Cassette plastic contains over 18% carbon black for proper conductivity as tested using ASTM methods.
Collection Area
• Inside diameter varies by only ±5 mm2 for consistent collection area and minimized error.
Construction
• Certified leak-free, cassette parts are manufactured with close tolerances and vacuum and pressure tested for leakage.
