Used to collect a 2" x 12" diameter sediment or sludge sample in a liner. It is identical to the AMS multi-stage soil core sampler is provided with a new and improved core tip and cap, specifically designed to retain sludge. Optional 12" sections are added to extend the length for profile studies, up to 48" depending on soil conditions encountered. It is available with a 5/8" threaded connection only.

All stainless steel components include a vented flat cap, base and a 400 series hardened core tip to retain a 2" core catcher. The sampler has a diameter of 2 3/8" OD. For extensions, slide hammers, additional liners and plastic end caps.

Includes: Multi-stage flap check cap, multi-stage sludge core tip, 12” multi-stage SCS base, plastic liner, plastic end caps, 2” soil core catcher, universal slip wrench.

For greater sampling depth, order the optional 12” multistage SCS section separately
