VST Portable Vacuum Fluid Samplers

The Manning Model VST portable sampler is a great choice for high solids sampling. This unit isn't damaged by sand or pebbles, and varying water levels won't affect the accuracy. Even with changing head height, sample volume repeatability is 0.5%. Anti-Clog technology helps prevent blockage that could cause a missed sample and means less time cleaning! The Manning Model VST portable sampler comes standard with a 3/8” ID flow path, but can be upgraded to a 5/8” ID. It can be configured for single or multi-bottle use. Ice in the insulated base cools samples.
Vacuum style samplers use a vacuum compressor to generate the vacuum used to draw a sample. These units have no pump tubing and with proper care are the longest lasting type of fluid samplers on the market.
Manning Model VST Portable Vacuum Samplers

The VST is the portable version of the VS series powered by battery or by a 115-220AC 50/60Hz power supply. Vacuum are the longest lasting suction lift sampler in the market, these units are rugged and durable. Samples are cooled by ice in the insulated bottle case. The VS series measures the sample volume directly so changing head height doesn't affect the accuracy and requires no calibration. A favorite for harsh environments like paper mills, sand and large particulate won't interfere with operation and anti-plug technology keeps your lines clear. Available with a 3/8th or a 5/8ths inch ID fluid path.

Model VST samplers have few moving parts and any critical components are rated for thousands of operations. Since these samplers have no regularly scheduled replacement of consumable parts (such as peristaltic pump tubing), labor and spare parts costs are minimized. Versatile Controller.
The sampler bottle case and microprocessor based controller are housed in NEMA 4X/NEMA 6 enclosures for environmental protection. The controller offers advanced functionality and features such as data logging, review of settings and operating status, with a variety of flow and time modes. With its step-by-step menu format, dedicated-button keypad, and large backlit LCD, the controller is simple to set up, even in the dark! Easy to understand prompts and shortcut keys save manpower and time by avoiding frustrating navigation through long, complicated menu structures.
